Embedded in Afghanistan

Embedded (adjective):
EMOTION – If an emotion, opinion, etc. is embedded in someone or something, it is a very strong or important part of them
FIXED – fixed into the surface of something
PROTECTED – An embedded journalist or reporter travels with and is protected by a unit of soldiers during a war

Embed (verb):
1 – to fix something firmly and deeply into a substance, surface or object
2 – to make something a fixed and important part of something else

If ideas, attitudes, or feelings etc are embedded, you believe or feel them very strongly
